In response to customer demand and to acknowledge the evolution of the networking industry toward robust, large-scale network architectures, Cisco is announcing a new certification in the Cisco Certification portfolio, the Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE).
The CCDE certification formally introduces and defines Cisco’s goal of creating and implementing an industry-wide, vendor-transparent, senior-level, and infrastructure-focused architectural expertise certification. The CCDE will be an expert-level certification, parallel to our industry-leading CCIE program. As part of Cisco’s approach to network design, there is a clear need to identify and recognize the architectural expertise that will be necessary to support the increasingly complex networks of our large global customers.
